GAME OVERVIEW
In a world of fire, flame, deceit and destruction, all that stands against the unstoppable forces of the underworld is a lonesome priest and his wavering faith. Banished under false accusations, can this unforeseen hero beat the odds and take on hell itself?
Sanctum Infernum is a 3rd person shooter action adventure game.
Playing as Father Truss, you set to travel through the rings of hell starting with nothing but your shaken faith and the knife you were literally stabbed in the back with. Cut and shoot your way back to the living world and discover the true intentions for your betrayal and bring an end to this devious plot, which was planned over decades.
PROJECT DETAILS
Sanctum Infernum was a collaborative project between the ACM Guildford and ACM Birmingham campuses that spanned roughly 13 weeks with a total team of 35. Since the theme of this project was Triple A, we had to use industry standard tools to track our work and communicate deadlines. These were tools like Jira, Trello and Github. We also used agile frameworks to manage team members and make sure those who were behind could appropriately catch up when needed.
KEY RESONSIBILITIES
I had the role of being a Game Design Lead. My responsibilities were to assign tasks to my fellow design members and keep track of their progress. I was mainly in charge of the Narrative and the Level Design. It was my job to make sure that the levels were designed around the core mechanics of the gameplay and that the story was being implemented into the game. Using Jira and Confluence I was able to document all work done by my team while also keeping track of tasks on the timeline.
I was also in charge of the design branch for our GitHub and if anything went wrong then it was my responsibility to try and fix it as quick as possible.
